Land Consulting Services
Fairfield Service Group can provide route and
site selection, environmental archaeological support, title
research, survey notification, negotiation and acquisition, and
damage and claim settlement services to clients needing to acquire
property or right-of-way access.
In addition to the above services, we offer the
following surveying and project management services:
Site
Surveying: We
are experienced in the preparation of site maps and topographic
surveys for EPA projects, wetlands, and hazardous waste. Land
surveying and boundary surveys are performed under the direct
supervision of a Registered Professional Surveyor. We have
registered professionals throughout the United States.
Global
Positioning Surveys (GPS): Our staff of professionals is experienced in
collecting information using GPS technology to prepare Geographic
Information for inclusion in Geographic Databases (GIS).
Alignment
and Property Surveys: We offer surveying services for route surveys in
support of power lines, pipelines, highway construction, levees,
dams, roads, and bridges.
Geodetic
Surveys: We
are experienced and offer precise geodetic surveys-both horizontal
and vertical-using both GPS and conventional survey methods.
Archeology
Surveys:
We offer archeological surveys in support of route selections and
site selection for pipelines, transmission lines, cell towers, and
fiber optic lines.
Pipelines
Management:
Our staff can manage all phases of the design and construction of
oil and gas, water, and product pipelines. We also offer inspection
services from mill inspections through final clean-up on
pipelines.
Power
Line Management: We are capable of managing the design, survey,
property acquisition and inspection on power transmission and
distribution systems.
Highway
Management:
We are experienced in managing route selection, acquisition, survey,
design, and inspection of state and federal highway construction
projects.
FSG personnel have provided the above support
services to over 35 different projects involving land acquisition
and right-of-way access resulting from the laying of fiber optic
cable, the erection of electrical transmission lines, and the
installation of natural gas lines. A list of the projects supported
